Blog:
Here is a sneak peak of the collection I've envisioned for years, my whicker swimwear line and of course my men's linen suits. Burning man or no Burning man, they are coming and I could not be more stoked! Shall we?

This is the mood of the line,
an animalistic, primal, unconventional beauty that adorns herself in the forgotten tassels of fabrics stores closed from corruption (Hancock fabric), mass produced hats rescued from the trash, and baskets I'm gleefully repurposing.
Pretty much, the owners stole oodles of money from the company spending it lavishly on themselves
and did it to a point where they had to file for bankruptcy. Closing 185 stores and 4,500 people from their jobs. Yahoo laid off 10,600 this year (including Tumblr employees) Coach laid off 10% of workforce allegedly "All Corporate Staff" The rest of my line consists of men's wear. Sadly suits haven't changed much since the 1920's. Consistency is great, but menswear could use some variety and spice. You will see spice whence I release my line!!! Menswear

Inspiration
This is the scenery I expect for the editorial shoot. I am hoping to borrow one of my dad's snazzy camera's or enlist the help of a photographer on site.
The materials for the swimsuits will consist up up cycled woven rugs, curtains, baskets, tassels and whatever else I find interesting. If you have materials to donate, DM me, my loves.
Men's Inspiration Board: Suits is the only clue I'll give. All the fabrics I'm using are vintage and incredible.
Men's Makeup
I haven't settled on what I'd like yet. War paint of any kind would be striking and powerful. I was initially thinking Braveheart, but I may find a makeup artist who can do more intricate/ornate designs. This aspect of the styling is very important to me because men rarely get to have their makeup done. It's an experience I want my models to behold. The patience and anticipation of seeing what they will look like, it's exciting! I want them to go through this ritualistic process before they "go into battle" when they strut their suits on the runway.
I am creative a pre-spring 2017 music video for my Women's Wear. This film will be starring my roommates, shot in Marin and SF and will be captured by the incredible Greg Salais.
See his work below!
See you at Burning Man!
