Halloween's A Comin'!

This is the First Year I've Done Costume Commissions

Annmarie not dressed for halloween, but for her role as the lion in "The lion sleeps tonight".
She was 5.

Since I left my job in retail,
I needed income and fast!
I've never tried working on commission until real recently,
and wanted to try it out.

​I made flyers!  

Then I posted them online and I had so many orders,
I couldn't post the rest of my flyers.
My plan included going to college campuses,
metro stations,
and in bars and laundromats.
Plans thwarted,
And I took a part time after school job
teaching costuming and sewing
but! 

These are still exciting times,
I just wish I started commissions (Quit my job) earlier
so I could make more.

OF COURSE MY BEST COSTUME WAS SEXY ET!

I used nylon and pleather to make a full body suit.
I had a glowing red heart and a white glowing finger.
I put rubber gloves over my shoes
​to simulate ET's frog like feet.

Here we all are at my friend's Halloween party.
Notice the famous Male model,
Malcolm Pei.

But sexy pope was genius
because in history
​there actually was a lady pope!

This year I'm going as Marie Anotinette!

And I'm going to have white out lenses!
​Because my roommate claimed the black out kind.

And a bottom grill!
I'm going to have it made in Oakland this weekend!
AND WE ARE GOING TO FILM IT!
